![]() Ideally, there would be a standard template for the typical types of buildings. In the event that the current project is similar to a previous one, the first step would be to extract the old project’s template. Without a BEP, the design path should be studied at length to better predict what needs to be inserted into the project file. If there's a BEP available, it would be easier to determine which families (building components such as doors, windows, etc.) to preload in the Revit file, as well as how to set the views, and the architectural, structural or plant settings that might be required. The step involving a good template setup is equally fundamental and delicate. A URS coordination file and shared coordinates are required. ![]()
